Calculation of active SO2 and adjustment of free SO2
A specially developed DMT to calculate the active SO2 in your wine, taking account of its physicochemical parameters. Also allows calculation of the necessary dose to adjust the free SO2.
In a general context (societal and legal) aimed at reducing the concentration of sulphites in wines, it is necessary to think in terms of active SO2. LAFFORT® provides a calculator to determine this active SO2 by considering the physicochemical parameters of your wine (free SO2, pH, ABV, Temperature). This DMT (Decision Making Tool) also allows calculation of the SO2 addition needed to adjust your wine to a certain level of free SO2 that you choose, by entering the required level of active SO2.
